Privacy and finder answers

When you submit the finder, your selected tool requirements are sent to this site's matching endpoint so it can return a shortlist. The browser stores the successful answer set in session storage to support the finder's resume behavior; you can clear it with the finder control or close the tab. A BuyerShortlists purchase-page link can include those choices in the URL fragment. Fragments are not sent with the initial page request, but they are visible in the browser address bar and may be shared if you copy the full URL.

Do not include personal information

The questions ask for tool requirements, not your name, email, address, account, or project photos. Do not add personal details to the URL or share a fragment that contains choices you want to keep private.

Third-party destination

If you activate an Amazon link from a BuyerShortlists purchase page, the retailer receives a request under its own privacy practices. This site's purchase-page code does not append finder answers to the retailer URL. We do not control the data handling of external retailers or service providers.

Technical data

The site's interface does not embed a third-party analytics service. Hosting, network, and browser services may still process technical request data under their own policies. Consult the notices provided by those services for details about their logging and retention practices.
